Teach-Technology Organization, Inc. has entered a partnership with The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund since January 2021. This partnership serves to help bridge the digital divide and provide children opportunities to learn.
About Them
The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund was started by Isabel and Margot, two Stanford women who share a passion for achieving educational equity to improve social justice. When the COVID-19 pandemic put the world on pause, they came together to advocate for technology equity and help children affected by homelessness rise from poverty. Thankfully, many of their fellow students felt the same way, and they were able to surround themselves with the brightest and most dedicated changemakers around.
Their Mission
The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity with a mission to bridge the digital divide for children affected by homelessness by giving laptops for learning and educational opportunities. Particularly during the current crises of racial bias coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic, getting online devices to the millions of kids who do not have access to an educational device at home is critical to reduce the systemic inequity prevalent in our society.
